The Bomb - The Guardian Review

(Click to open in new window)

Could you meet the man who killed your father?

At sixteen she was shell shocked and caught in the blast.

Now the bomber’s waiting on the other side of the door.

With an amazing sound track and stunning design, The Bomb tells the story of two extraordinary characters; one who killed in the name of justice, the other who refused to be a victim forever.

This sell out production is inspired by the relationship, and first meeting in 2000, between Jo Berry, whose father was killed in the 1984 ‘ Brighton Bombing’ and Patrick Magee, the man who planted that bomb.

Feedback from the spring 2006 Tour

"Stunning! Visually and emotionally arresting!"

"It’s been a long time since I’ve been so moved by a piece of theatre"

"Brilliant!"
