Our investors recognise the benefits of their association with a leading theatre company whose core values focus on young people, excellence, change, innovation, community and commitment.
At Action Transport we pride ourselves on working hard for our investors. We have a proven track record of negotiating individual packages to ensure the most appropriate coverage for investment and value for money.
Our reporting and evaluation processes provide our investors with detailed information on their support, and appropriate access to our work enables first hand experience of its value, diversity and quality.
Investing from as little as £1,000 will help us develop the range and quality of our work. We are interested in developing tailor-made sponsorship packages with our investors, looking at one or more of the following:
- Professional Touring Theatre Productions for Young People
- Participatory Work – Youth Theatre, Creative Projects for Young People at Risk of Exclusion, and Young Carers
- Young Writers – writing projects for young people
- Commissioning new plays from professional writers
- International Theatre – including our South Africa Partnership with Vulavulani Theatre Company
- Developing new work – exploring and researching new ideas for productions and projects
We have already begun to see the success of investment partnerships over the past three years, during which time our turnover and staff numbers have doubled. We have consolidated relations with existing investors including Arts Council England, North West, which increased its investment in the company by 70% between 2002 and 2004.
