We tour professional productions to schools, community venues and theatres, in Cheshire, regionally in the North West and where appropriate across the UK.

Our productions reach children and young people aged 4 –18 years and their families and reflect the lives and experiences of our young audiences. Action Transport is committed to developing original work for young people, through commissioning new plays, devising work and through experimental approaches to developing theatre.

We believe in putting creative artists at the heart of our the work – writers, performers, designers, producers. Our plays always challenge, entertain and inspire our audiences and are designed to encourage exploration and empathy with other people, other cultures and the lives of children and young people themselves.

 

Action Transport tours each production to the most appropriate spaces and audiences. This includes site specific projects relating to particular places and people.
