"The Musicians"
by Action Transport Youth Theatre

Action Transport Theatre offers unique vocational training, personal support, accessible creative workshops and professional guidance to young people throughout Ellesmere Port.

Financially supported by the Community Fund, Action Transport’s
participation programme engages with numerous young people between
11 and 18 years and has a particular focus on young carers and socially
disadvantaged young people.

In 2004 our programme enabled:

• a group of eight young people to write, shoot and produce their own short film, ‘Loose Change’.

• our Youth Theatre to tour their first scripted play,‘ The Musicians’, by Patrick Marber, as part of the Shell National Connections Festival.

• an integrated theatre project to take place with young disabled people from across Cheshire.

• one young person to access high quality creative writing and sound technology training through our individual training programme.

• a group of young carers to participate in outdoor theatre and dance carnivals.
